Description
Given that the mechanism of injury for pelvic pain in Hard Flaccid and Erectile Dysfunction are caused by functional deficits that are lifestyle choices and behavioral patterns, DCT is the ultimate solution for correcting the root cause of the problem. DCT is the only technique that lets someone self-diagnose which areas of their body are too tight, or which are too weak. It helps people identify whether their joints are in a state of hypermobility, where their range of motion is actually not what their muscles and the length of their muscles can actually allow.
DCT starts by strengthening the muscles, then realigning the joints and correcting the hypermobility. It’s the only way to actually hold the body in a position that allows you to correctly stretch and release the deep fascial lines that are the root cause of the symptoms of Hard Flaccid and Erectile Dysfunction.
It’s the same logic In the case of CPPS, only the mechanism is different.
For DCT stretches to be effective with Hard Flaccid and Erectile Dysfunction, the body needs to be in a proper position. The exercises are designed to stretch the connective tissue that may be impinging on the pudendal nerve or the damaged Buck’s fascia. A person needs to be able to hold their body in a position that will stretch the tissue and allow for blood and nutrients to enter the area as tension is released. But, if a person doesn’t have stability and strength in the joints and through the sacrum and pelvis, the muscle and fascial tissue will roll out of the way because the joint will not maintain the position. The muscles are not strong enough to keep the joints and bones aligned to create the proper stretch on that connective tissue.
Using DCT for HF and ED requires holistic strength in the body. Without that strength and stability, you won’t be able to release that deeper level of connective tissue and tension.
It takes four to six months for the human anatomy to change through consistent training. It’s impossible for a bodybuilder to develop their body within a two-week time span, no matter how hard they lift or how often they go to the gym in that two-week period.
The DCT program is designed so that you perform these exercises consistently over a long enough period of time, and in doing so you learn to listen to the messages that your body will tell you when you get into a position. I call it real real-time diagnostics or chasing the squirrel. If you’ve taken the time to do the postures and foundations portion of our program, you will be able to tell whether or not you’re feeling a DCT stretch in the correct area and in the correct way in order to get a change on that tissue that is safe and appropriate.
